Psychologist & Coach

About me

I am Paula Echevarria, a Certified Health Psychologist (No. M-40817 Official College of Psychology, Madrid).

I hold a Psychology degree from Complutense University, a Master´s in General Health Psychology from International University of Valencia, and several specialist certifications: Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, Migratory Grief, and Marriage Counselling from Centro Universitario Superior Europeo; also a Brief Therapy Certification from Palo Bajo School. Additionally, I am a Certified Coach by the International Coaching School, and I hold a Master’s degree in Human Resources Management from CEF.

For over twenty years, I served as a Human Resources Director in several multinational companies. My time abroad for multiple years was both enriching and challenging, shaping my professional and personal growth. Initially, I believed my success was tied to management roles, but I eventually realized true success lies in pursuing one’s genuine passion. After extensive training, research, and personal growth, I now dedicate myself to helping people to solve emotional issues and empowering them to achieve well-being.

Why attend therapy?

Therapy isn’t just for those with problems; it’s for those who seek solutions. If you struggle with emotions, thoughts, and feelings and haven’t found relief on your own, it may be the right time to seek professional help.

What to expect during the therapeutic process?

Self-Reflection Space:

A non-judgmental space where you can express yourself and gain self-awareness, leading to greater capacity for action and a more satisfying future.

Honesty:

I will share your behaviour functional analysis, helping you understand your thoughts and feelings, how they work and why they persist.

Personalized treatment:

Tasks designed for you between sessions that will help you progress more effectively, providing you with tools and resources for daily application.

Therapeutic Aim:

Your happiness, understood as balance and serenity.

How long does psychological therapy last?

There’s no universal answer, as beliefs, behaviors, and ideas are unique to each person and may have been ingrained for years.
I guide the therapeutic process in four phases to ensure effectiveness.

· Initial appointment: Understanding your goals and explaining how I can help.

· Evaluation: One or two appointments to assess your situation and to establish joint therapy objectives.

· Therapeutic process: focused on achieving the set objectives.

· Follow-Up: Optional sessions after the closure, to check long-term objectives.

Treatments Offered:

My goal is to support you in your emotional and psychological well-being through various treatments:

Migratory Grief:

I understand the emotional impact of the immigration process.

Anxiety and stress management:

Strategies to cope with anxiety and techniques for effective daily stress management.

Mood-related imbalances:

Support to understand and face emotional challenges, improving mental well-being.
